David has been the long-time assistant to Catherine Zuber, working on her Tony Award winning designs for South Pacific, The Light in the Piazza, The Coast of Utopia, Awake and Sing! and The Royal Family. Also her Tony nominated designs for Dinner at Eight, Seascape, How To Succeed…, and Born Yesterday. Other productions he has assisted on include Il Barbiere di Siviglia, Doctor Atomic, The 125th Anniversary Gala, Les Contes d’Hoffmann and Le Comte Ory (Met Opera); Der Ring des Nibelungen (Washington National Opera and San Francisco Opera) and all three seasons of the BAM/Old Vic Bridge Project.
