I've always respected "South Pacific" for its great Rodgers & Hammerstein score and its message of racial tolerance, a brave stand for a Broadway musical in 1949.

Considered to be one of the greatest Broadway musicals of all time, Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “South Pacific” debuted Tuesday night at the Hippodrome.
